Type of Biomass Material
The Piston wood briquetting press machine can process incompact biomass into solid briquette from sawdust, wood chips, wood shavings, rice husk, rice straw, wheat straw, corn straw, peanut straw, bean straw, tree leaves, cottonseed husk, cotton straw, shrubs and many other types of agro-forest waste.

Biomass Briquettes:
Briquettes have high specific density (1200kg/m3) and bulk density (800kg/m3) compared to 60 to 180 kg/m3 of loose bio mass. These can stand the ardors of long distance transport. Loading/ unloading and transportation cost are much less and storage requirements is drastically reduced. Compared to firewood or loose bio- mass, briquettes give much higher boiler efficiency because of low moisture and density.
The formed fuel briquette can be burned in many kinds of biomass stoves, such as biomass boilers, fireplaces, power boilers, heating boilers, etc. Through burning experiment, the indexes of smoke, ash and other polluting lets have achieved the EU standard.
